Meestal wordt zoneregeling geregeld via draadloze thermostaten die in verschillende kamers van het huis worden geplaatst. Met deze thermostaten kun je de gewenste temperatuur voor elke kamer apart instellen, terwijl ze tegelijkertijd de temperatuur constant meten.<\/p>\n<p>Wanneer de temperatuur afwijkt van de gewenste temperatuur, stuurt de draadloze thermostaat een signaal naar de bron om de verwarming in die specifieke kamer hoger of lager te zetten. Dit hele proces verloopt volledig automatisch, zodat er alleen warmte wordt gegenereerd in de ruimtes waar het nodig is.
